What is mental focus

Focus is the ability to place your attention on only one thing. Mental focus is being able to tune out distractions, in your head and outside of it, so you can put your brain on the one thing in front of you.

Do you ever have trouble focusing or staying on task when working or studying? Here are a couple of ways to improve your mental focus:

A 2018 study looking at 116 fifth-graders found evidence to suggest daily physical activity could help improve both concentration and attention after just 4 weeks.
